Product detailed description
Tremella fuciformis or lat. Tremella fuciformis is a small mushroom. It looks more like a gelatinous flower than a mushroom. It is often also called "snow ear" or "jellyfish".
It is very popular in traditional Chinese medicine, but also in cooking, where it is considered a delicacy. Recently, the popularity of Tremella fuciformis in cosmetics has been growing, where it is used primarily to improve skin condition due to its high hyaluronic acid content. When used externally, it hydrates, brightens and revitalizes the skin.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this mushroom on your body. Please find information about the effect in freely available sources on the Internet or in literature.
Traditional use:
Put three grams of algal jelly in 200 ml of cold water and bring to a boil. Boil over low heat for about 10 minutes and use the decoction prepared in this way up to 3 times a day.
Before using the jelly in the kitchen, it is necessary to wash it and then put it in cold water, where we let it soak for about 15 minutes. This will give it its original white color, shape and consistency. It can then be used in sauces, soups, boiled in salads or desserts and in sweet dishes. It is tasteless, has a gel structure and is very nutritious. It is also suitable for frying.
