The basis of this spread is almonds and milk, but its incomparable and indescribable taste is given tonka beans, also called Mexican vanilla. Even a small amount of tonka beans will give a very pleasant aroma that is worth tasting at least once. Fair trade palm oil comes from Ghana, where palm trees are planted as part of a project with respect for the environment and deforestation is not carried out to obtain new plantations. ALMOND-TONKA spread is excellent for pastries, desserts, for gluing sweets and biscuits, for baking and for direct snacking.
What is Bourbon vanilla? Bourbon vanilla is the name of vanilla that was originally grown only on the former Bourbon Island (now Reunion) and has now been grown on other islands in the Indian Ocean - Madagascar and the Comoros. This vanilla naturally contains a higher percentage of vanillin, the main aromatic substance that gives vanilla its aroma.
