Product detailed description
Aloe vera is a succulent perennial plant growing to a height of 1–5 m. It is one of the oldest plants on earth. This cactus-like plant is native to southern Africa, but is now cultivated in many areas from South America to India.
A mature plant with a simple, unbranched structure has the form of a tree or shrub. The stem is woody, topped with a rosette of leaves that can be up to 90 cm long, are thick, fleshy, and taper at the end. Today, there are approximately 200 species of aloe, but only three are phytotherapeutically useful: aloe vera, aloe vera tree, and aloe vera.
Aloe vera acts as an antioxidant, supports the body's natural defenses - resistance, and is suitable for supporting hair, nails, and skin. It contributes to (pre)menstrual and menopausal comfort.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources on the Internet or in a herbarium.
