Use:
St. John's wort supports digestion, has a positive effect on mental health, relaxation and sleep. Contributes to the normal function of the urinary tract - kidneys.
Classification:
Dietary supplement. Herbal tea, portioned in infusion bags. Ingredients (in 1 infusion bag): St. John's wort - leaves (Herba hyperici) 1500 mg.
Preparation:
Pour 250 ml of boiling water over 1 infusion bag and let it steep for 15 minutes. To increase the effect of the tea, boil for 10 minutes.
Recommended dosage:
Maximum 1 cup per day.
Warning:
St. John's wort can affect the breakdown of a large number of medicines, reduce their levels in the blood and thus reduce their therapeutic effect. It affects, for example, levels of warfarin, digoxin, medicines for the treatment of epilepsy, asthma, reduces the effect of contraceptives. In sensitive people, photosensitization is possible. Not suitable for children, pregnant and lactating women. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children.
