External aquarium filter. 

 Patented filter system - for a healthy aquarium and clean water. Preserves beneficial bacteria - for a healthy aquarium environment. Invisible and harmless, beneficial bacteria are essential for removing toxic ammonia and nitrites. With the Aqua Clear filter system, it is sufficient to occasionally replace only one of the three filter cartridges to preserve such essential bacteria. Following this procedure results in highly effective biological filtration. Multi-phase filtration system ensures optimal mechanical, chemical and biological filtration.

Phase 1: mechanical filtration - foam cartridge - captures mechanical impurities and food debris.

Phase 2: chemical filtration - activated carbon - absorbs odors, discoloration and impurities.

Phase 3: biological filtration - Biomax cartridge - increases the biological capacity of the aquarium.
