Sun-dried fruits and Ayurvedic spices form the basis of this delicious fruit bar. Regardless of your predominant dosha (energy characteristic according to Ayurveda: vata, pitta or kapha), every Ayurvedic dish should contain all the tastes (sweet, sour, salty, astringent, bitter and hot). In accordance with this teaching, the ingredients for this bar were also chosen: fragrant coconut, fruity plums and a harmonious blend of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric and pepper with a pinch of salt. Sweetness is provided by both dried fruit and the sweetened nectar from coconuts, and sunflower oil instead of palm fat ensures the right consistency.
