Basmati means "queen of aromas" in Hindi. It got this name for its unique aroma and taste reminiscent of a nut. Basmati natural is natural rice that is unpolished and unground. It is suitable as a side dish for sauces, for preparing light risottos or in salads.

Ingredients:

Natural long-grain rice. May contain traces of gluten.

Preparation:

Rinse the rice and pour it into salted boiling water (about 2.5 cups of water are needed for 1 cup of rice). Cook for about 20 - 25 minutes until the rice is tender. Drain off excess water and serve. You can make this rice easier to prepare by soaking it in water for a few hours before cooking.

Storage:

Store at a temperature of up to 25°C, in the shade and with a relative humidity of up to 70%.
