Chestnut flour

It is obtained from sweet chestnuts and has a sweet, nutty flavor. Until the end of the 19th century, chestnut flour was the main food of the rural population in the mountainous regions of southern Europe.

You can replace up to 20% of the commonly used flour in a recipe with it.

Ideal for baking cakes, bread, pastries and pancakes.
