Branched-chain amino acids or BCAA is a collective name for the amino acids L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. The increased content of L-Leucine in a ratio of 4:1:1 is especially important for post-workout regeneration and stimulation of the so-called mTOR mechanism. BCAAs are supplemented with L-glutamine, which offers a synergistic effect.
