Product detailed description
As the name suggests, the original source of birch sweetener, sometimes inaccurately referred to as birch sugar, was birch trees. However, it is also produced industrially from other plant sources - corn husks, oats and others. For our body, it is a completely natural substance, which is not only contained in various berries, fruits and vegetables, but also in our body. It produces an average of 15 g of this substance per day. Birch sweetener is a great substitute for sugar in any dish. It does not have an unpleasant aftertaste, it is approximately as sweet as white sugar, but contains 40% fewer calories. It does not increase blood sugar levels and does not cause tooth decay. We use it just like sugar to sweeten drinks, in baking and cooking. In higher quantities, it can cause bloating and even have laxative effects, so it is better to start with smaller doses and test personal tolerance. When we taste birch sweetener in loose form, we feel a refreshing cooling sensation in the mouth. This is because heat is consumed when it dissolves in water. The dissolved sweetener no longer produces this sensation. Be careful, this sweetener is dangerous for dogs, do not feed them food with this sweetener and keep it out of their reach!
