Blueberry leaves are a highly valued drug. They originate from a small cranberry bush from Asia. They gradually spread and today blueberries grow practically throughout Europe. They are also found
in northwestern America and Asia. Blueberry bushes together form a continuous growth, the so-called blueberry bush.

The bush is deciduous and grows to a height of 30–50 cm, has small oval leaves about 5 mm in size, the fruit is small blue-violet berries. The berries contain the natural dye anthocyanin, which is responsible for the blue-violet colored teeth, hands and clothes, and it is difficult to get rid of it. Blueberry leaves are suitable for preparing natural herbal tea. Juices are also prepared from them. The decoction is also used as a gargle and for rinsing the mouth. A decoction of blueberry leaves is used externally for skin problems.

Traditional use:
Pour two teaspoons of 250 ml of boiling water, let stand for 15 minutes and drink 1–2 times a day.
