The preparation is applied as a spray after thorough mechanical cleaning. Thoroughly spray the entire chicken coop with Rebel Bumblebee Stop against bumblebees, including cracks and crevices, and in the evening, the poultry itself must also be sprayed (Bumblebee Stop will not harm them in such a one-time action). Because even after this disinfection, at least some bumblebee larvae will remain in the chicken coop, we recommend repeating the entire procedure after about a week to a fortnight and then again after 3 and 6 months.
As a preventive measure, it is necessary to keep the chicken coop clean and try to limit the access of wild birds to both the chicken coop and, for example, to the feeders. Our ancestors successfully used lime to disinfect chicken coops and disinfected and painted all chicken coops with lime every year.
