Product detailed description
The large-fruited cranberry is a small creeping shrub growing up to 1 m tall. It is also known as the Canadian cranberry. It is native to North America. It is valued and cultivated primarily for its tasty fruits, which are comparable in size to gooseberries, but are reddish to red in color.
The fruits of the Canadian cranberry have a sour, fruity flavor, which is why they are often sweetened to soften the taste. Cranberries are sold on the market in the form of syrups, pastes, juices, and canned. Dried fruits retain all beneficial substances and can be added to various dishes - instead of raisins in Christmas cakes or desserts, or as a valuable ingredient in morning muesli.
The fruits of the Canadian cranberry are slightly sweetened with sugar and contain sunflower oil and a small amount of elderberry concentrate to enhance the effect. This makes them better preserved and suitable for direct consumption. Due to their sweet taste, direct consumption is also popular with children, who then like to use cranberries when they have problems.
It is advisable to keep cranberries at home in the refrigerator, in case of need. The shelf life is more than one year and the effectiveness of the dried fruit is incomparable with tablets with a minimal content of substances.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of these fruits on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources or in the herbarium.
Ingredients: Canadian cranberry, sugar, sunflower oil, elderberry concentrate, citric acid.
