Product detailed description
Canchalagua (lat. Schkuhria pinnata) is an annual erect herb of inconspicuous appearance growing up to 50 cm tall. It has very small flowers, the stem looks as if it is dry. Canchalagua originates from South America, its habitats are rather in drier mountainous regions at an altitude of 2,000 to 3,000 meters above sea level. It is widely found in the valleys in the middle of the Andes in what is now Peru.
Canchalagua is traditionally pronounced as “kanchalagua”. The phytotherapeutically usable part of canchalagua is the entire above-ground part, including the stems and leaves.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Traditional use:
Put two tablespoons of dried nati canchalagua in 1 l of cold water and slowly bring to the boil. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes and set aside. Let cool and then strain. Divide the cooked dose into three parts, which we will take during the day. It can also be prepared in a faster way - by pouring one teaspoon of dry matter into 250 ml of hot water and infusing for ten minutes. Then strain and take the prepared infusion 3 times a day.
