Caprylic acid is one of the MCT fats contained naturally, among other things, in coconut oil (it contains caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10), but also, for example, in breast milk. Unlike capric caprylic acid is absorbed very quickly and is thus an immediate, but at the same time stable and long-lasting source of energy.
