Chia or Salvia Hispanica is a herb growing in South America. Its seed has been an important source of nutrients for centuries, as it contains the optimal ratio of nutrients. Purasana seeds are without any additives and are an excellent source of proteins, carbohydrates, antioxidants, fatty acids and many other elements. Their hydrophilic properties are also highly valued - they can bind water of more than ten times their own volume, which is invaluable especially during sports and physical exertion. Because the body is supplied with water gradually and dehydration does not occur, in addition, chia seeds form an easily digestible gel after soaking, so they do not burden the digestive system and can easily be added to any cocktail, smoothie or dish.
