Product detailed description
The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion chili pepper (lat. Capsicum chinense) is a pepper growing 3–7 cm long and 2–3 cm wide. When ripe, it is deep red and resembles a golf ball in shape. It comes from the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean Sea, specifically from the Moruga area. This is the first chili pepper ever to exceed two million on the Scoville scale. Today, it ranks among the hottest chili peppers, but it has been surpassed in heat by the Carolina Reaper chili pepper.
Connoisseurs and fans of extreme chili peppers describe the onset of heat as not bad at first, but over time, the heat increases and increases and turns into a fire that permeates the entire body. Scorpion is very aromatic and, except for the extreme heat, which subsides after a few minutes, the pepper is described as intensely fruity and sweet.
Chilli contributes to maintaining normal stomach health, supports hair growth and acts as an antioxidant. It has an effect on fat and carbohydrate metabolism, reduces calorie intake, and is suitable for weight control. It supports thermogenesis - increasing heat production.
