Chinese cocopeat, popularly known as TU SI ZI, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for a long time.

Cocopeat is a parasitic plant that wraps itself around other plants. It then uses them for its nutrition. It does not have chlorophyll itself and is not capable of photosynthesis. As a parasite, it can be dangerous for other plants, but in ancient China they learned to use the positive aspects of this plant and included it in their herbaria. The part of cocopeat used is the small round seeds, which the cocopeat hides in its capsules in large quantities.

Since cocopeat is not a very well-known plant in Europe and its use is not widespread, no company has submitted a proposal for the recognition of any of the health claims for which cocopeat is traditionally used, and according to Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, we are therefore not allowed to inform about these health benefits. Usage:1× daily 6 g (two heaped teaspoons) put in 200 ml of cold water and boil for approx. 15 min. (add more water if necessary).
