Choco is a distinctively chocolate spread without nuts and milk with a high cocoa content, flavored with Bourbon vanilla, which is also suitable for vegans. Fair trade palm oil comes from Ghana, where palm trees are planted with respect for the environment as part of the project and deforestation is not carried out to obtain new plantations. This spread is spreadable at room temperature, it hardens in the refrigerator. We use it on pastries, pancakes, fritters, for decorating cakes, gluing sweets and biscuits, for porridge and direct snacking. The product comes from the fair trade project HAND IN HAND. Fair trade guarantees fair remuneration to farmers from developing countries and prohibits slave and child labor.
What is Bourbon vanilla? Bourbon vanilla is the name of the vanilla that was originally grown only on the former Bourbon Island (now Reunion) and is now cultivated on other islands in the Indian Ocean - Madagascar and the Comoros. This vanilla naturally contains a higher percentage of vanillin, the main aromatic substance that gives vanilla its aroma.
