Chuchuasi – Maytenus macrocarpa – ground bark. The advantage of the powder is that it is very easy to prepare.
Chuchuasi is a tree growing up to 30 m tall. It comes from the Amazon rainforests, from Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. The bark of the tree is extremely hard, reddish-brown in color. The Peruvian name Chuchuasi means "trembling back". The part traditionally used is the extremely hard bark of the tree.

Traditional use:
Mix half a teaspoon of powder in water and drink. Use 3 times a day.
TIP for preparation: Add only 2 times more water than powder to the glass of powder
and mix to a paste, which is diluted with liquid - no lumps form.
Warning: Not suitable for children under three years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
