Lemongrass is a perennial and sturdy plant that forms massive tufts of long, thin gray-green leaves, which are up to 150 cm long. Seeds are rarely produced, which is why citronella grass reproduces mainly vegetatively.
It can be grown in the Czech Republic, but there are many restrictions. It is recommended to grow it as a portable plant. The whole plant has a characteristic, very intense lemon scent. Citronella is widely used in cooking as a spice, instead of lemon juice or as a component of tea.

Traditional use:
Citronella grass is added to dishes - solid foods or teas - according to taste. It is excellent
for preparing a refreshing drink for lovers of lemon flavor and aroma.
