Costa Rica is one of the countries that has brought coffee cultivation and production to near perfection. Costa Rica La Pastora coffee comes from the Tarrazu region, where coffee trees are grown on extinct volcanoes, at high altitudes. Here, the coffee acquires its silky, yet rich taste with a soft, thick and cohesive crema. In the cup, we find a subtly sweet, chocolate-like, exceptional taste. Arabica coffee is much more demanding in terms of cultivation, climate and care than robusta. It is characterized by a better aroma and taste. Interestingly, arabica contains less caffeine than robusta.
To maintain maximum quality, our coffee is packaged in an airtight, resealable package with an aroma valve. Freshness is the most important factor in the quality of coffee - that is, the time that has passed from roasting to consumption. You can find the roasting time on the package.
