Nicaragua is considered a newcomer to coffee production (late 18th century), but the prospects are more than promising. Experts expect Nicaragua to rise among the leading producers. Coffee from Nicaragua is characterized by a soft and balanced taste. You can find a blend of chocolate and spicy tones with low and gentle acidity.
The SHG (Strictly High Growing) designation indicates that it is coffee grown at an altitude of at least 1,500 m. It is generally known that the higher the coffee is grown, the better the quality.

Arabica coffee is much more demanding in terms of cultivation, climate and care than Robusta. It is characterized by a better aroma and taste. Interestingly, arabica contains less caffeine than robusta.
To maintain maximum quality, our coffee is packaged in an airtight, resealable package with an aroma valve. The most important thing for coffee quality is freshness - that is, the time that has passed from roasting to consumption. You can find the roasting time on the package.
