Product detailed description

Whole nuts retain their typical aroma and taste much better, and can be crushed to obtain an absolutely fresh product.

Cola acuminata belongs to the Malvaceae family. It is considered a strong stimulant. Kola nut is used primarily for its stimulating effects, which can be attributed to the combination of substances it contains - e.g. caffeine.

Caffeine helps increase alertness, contributes to increased endurance performance, and helps improve concentration. Caffeine contributes to increasing endurance capacity and reducing the perceived effort when exerting effort during exercise.

The properties of caffeine from kola nut will be appreciated by people in jobs with demanding mental and physical stress, or by students during difficult exams. Kola nut is suitable for maintaining normal weight.

Interestingly, kola nut was part of the original recipe of the most famous American drink Coca Cola. The name of the drink is derived from the two original ingredients of coca and kola nut. Kola nut served primarily as a source of caffeine providing the stimulating effects of the drink. Currently, Coca Cola no longer contains kola nut or coca extracts, and caffeine and flavoring ingredients are provided artificially. However, kola nut is still used as a flavoring in the food industry or as a stimulant in the form of dietary supplements. Energy drinks that use the natural stimulating properties of Cola acuminata are no exception.

It contains approximately 3 g of caffeine/100 g. The maximum recommended daily dose of caffeine is 200 mg/6 g of Cola acuminata per day.

The infusion made by pouring boiling water over it has a dark brown color and an excellent sweet, cola-like taste. Up to 30 invigorating cups can be made from 50 g.

Traditional use: Traditionally, the nuts are chewed (however, they are very hard), or a drink is prepared from 1 to 2 crushed nuts by pouring 300 ml of boiling water over them. Then let it steep for 10–15 min. You don't have to strain it, most of the powder dissolves and only a small part settles at the bottom.

We received a preparation tip from our satisfied customer: Pour one teaspoon into 250 ml of hot milk and sweeten. The result is a drink with a delicate, strongly invigorating taste. It is also possible to pour it over hot water and slightly dilute it with milk, the taste will be significantly milder.

Warning: Symptoms of overdose are similar to coffee, namely restlessness and insomnia. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Due to the caffeine content, it is not suitable for pregnant, breastfeeding women and children. Keep out of reach of children. Storing in the cold slows down the degradation of active ingredients.

Price comparable to quality coffee, the effect is diametrically opposed and longer lasting!
