Cold-pressed flaxseed oil 250 ml BIO RAPUNZEL

This flaxseed oil is pressed from golden flaxseed and has a pleasant, typical taste. It is pressed and bottled using the special OXYGUARD technology, developed specifically for RAPUNZEL for pressing sensitive oils. The oil is pressed at low temperature (of course, without using heat), without access to light and air. Heat, light and air accelerate the oxidative yellowing of essential fatty acids. The oil is packaged in a dark bottle and paper box, which protects it from light and partially insulates it from external heat (e.g. when transporting it home). Thanks to this technology, oxidation processes in the oil are significantly limited before opening the bottle. After opening, store it in the refrigerator. Flaxseed oil is great for salads and hot dishes after cooking. Dips and cold sauces gain an interesting aroma with flaxseed oil. It is very tasty with peeled potatoes and cottage cheese, in bean or lentil salad and in potato and chopped nut salad. The oil is very delicate and heat treatment destroys valuable substances. If you cannot find a use for flaxseed oil in your kitchen, you can take a teaspoon of it daily for health. In medical practice, flaxseed oil is used in combination with cottage cheese.

Cold-pressed flaxseed oil contains a high amount of essential fatty acids, especially the doubly unsaturated linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acid) and the triunsaturated linolenic acid (omega-3 fatty acid). Due to its high content of essential alpha-linolenic acid, flaxseed oil is one of the most valuable edible oils ever. In combination with other oils, flaxseed oil can optimize the absorption of fatty acids. The high vitamin E content is also definitely worth mentioning.
STORAGE TIPS:
Close the bottle carefully: The oil must be protected from oxygen, as it destroys unsaturated fatty acids.
Store in the dark: Light is the biggest enemy of full-fat oils, as it greatly accelerates the reaction of fatty acids with atmospheric oxygen.
Keep refrigerated: In cold oil, much fewer reactions take place - and more slowly - leading to its deterioration, so keep the oil in the refrigerator.
