Product detailed description

This oil is cold-pressed from a special variety of sunflower seeds, which provides oil rich in monounsaturated oleic acid. It is stable even at higher temperatures, which means that we can fry, deep-fry and bake in the oil (unlike most cold-pressed organic oils). However, you can also use it as a classic virgin oil for cold dishes. It has a typical pleasant slightly nutty taste. It is also suitable for mayonnaise, dressings, traditional buns and cakes, for greasing dishes and the like. However, it perfectly complements potato dishes and hearty potato or legume salads.
The sunflower seeds used to press this oil were grown in Slovakia according to the principles of controlled organic farming. After harvesting, the seeds were pressed without using heat (i.e. cold). The oil was then only filtered, but not deodorized. This is the main difference between this oil and our frying oil.
