Crushed tomato passata 680 g BIO RAPUNZEL

In the Czech Republic, the use of passata - crushed tomatoes - is not yet very widespread. Unlike tomato puree, passata is not thickened during production, so it retains more of the natural taste and aroma of tomatoes than tomato puree. We can use it instead of tomatoes in sauces and soups if we lack fresh tomatoes at home, or if we want to avoid their lengthy processing. Passata forms the ideal basis for pasta sauces, soups, vegetable mixtures, tomato soup and sauce, leča... Our passata was prepared by gently processing fresh tomatoes that had naturally ripened red in the sun, which were grown according to the principles of controlled organic farming. The tomatoes ripened in sunny Umbria and were quickly processed after harvesting. The passata manufacturer only uses fruits that grew on his own organic farm. This means that tomatoes do not have to be transported long distances after harvest, and the producer has complete control over which fruits are used in production.
