This aged black garlic is made exclusively from garlic grown by Czech farmers. Black garlic is ordinary white garlic that has undergone a long, carefully controlled process of temperature, humidity and time in a special facility. The production process has its roots in the Far East, where garlic was stored in clay pots at a slightly elevated temperature (around 50 °C) and high humidity for several months. The result was black, soft cloves that lost their typical sharp taste (and partly also their aroma) and their taste became sweet and spicy. The unique color, taste and structure of black garlic is achieved without chemical processes, additional preservatives and additives. For its properties it is classified as a superfood whose nutritional benefits are extraordinary. Black garlic has a slightly sweet, spicy taste and aroma. We can use it to season all types of meat and vegetables, and it is great in soups, spreads, and vegetable salads. It can also be consumed alone (1-2 peeled cloves per day).
