Dandelion or butterbur is a prehistoric and very well-known plant that is widely distributed throughout the Czech Republic. That is why it is often considered a weed.
In phytotherapy, the useful part is the dandelion flower, which acts as a prebiotic, the main function of which is stimulation and support of digestion. It contributes to the proper functioning of the stomach and liver. Dandelion supports the normal function of the urinary system. It is an antioxidant. It has beneficial detoxifying effects.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about other positive effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources on the Internet or in literature.
Instructions for preparation and dosage:
Pour one heaping teaspoon of dried flowers into 200–250 ml of boiling water. Infuse until the temperature is suitable for drinking. Then strain and drink the tea prepared in this way 2–3 times a day.
