Darjeeling Himalaya is a genuine black tea originating from the foothills of the snow-capped Himalayas. The designation SFTGFOP1 (Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, grade 1) indicates that it is the highest quality grade of Darjeeling tea. It has a distinctive honey flavour accompanied by dusty tipsy notes. The infusion is reddish-brown in colour with a pleasant, strongly floral to sweet aroma.

Black teas generally have a strong flavour and a distinctive aroma. They are fermented teas. The fermentation process colours the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant and awakens their typical flavour and aroma, while also extending their shelf life. In East Asia, black tea is also called red tea.

The Chinese tea tree acts as an antioxidant and supports physical and mental activity. Drinking tea is suitable for maintaining healthy teeth, supports the condition of bones and skin. Recommended preparation:
Put three teaspoons (8 g) of tea in a teapot and pour 500 ml of hot water just below the boiling point. Infuse for 2–4 minutes. 1 infusion can be prepared from this tea. It is suitable as a morning tea for a good breakfast.
