Product detailed description
Ubos (Yellow Mombín) is a fast-growing tree that can grow up to 24 m tall. Its homeland is the lowlands of the Amazon. The bark of the ubos is deeply grooved and when broken, a brown liquid flows out of it, which is used as glue. The inflorescence is white and has a pleasant aroma, the fruits can be compared to yellow plums with a sour taste. The entire tree can be used - leaves, fruits and bark. The indigenous people have become fond of the tree due to its rapid growth, which they use mainly to shade their homes. Ubos is traditionally used internally in the form of a decoction, but it is also suitable for external use. Indigenous Indians use a decoction of the inner bark to rinse injured skin and burns.
