Sangre de Drago (Dragon's blood) is a pure liquid latex from the Peruvian tree Croton lechleri, which is used by natives in Peru and other parts of South America as a solution to skin problems, for example.

The spectrum of uses of dragon's blood is very wide. The latex is collected at dawn, it flows out when the tree is injured. The tree secretes sap for its defense and healing, which the natives there also discovered and began to use it in this sense. Our civilization was introduced to dragon's blood by a Spanish priest, Father Banebé Cobo, around 1600. He described primarily its positive properties and its use in local traditional medicine. It can be used externally and internally.

External use: Due to its analgesic and antiviral effects it is useful for various types of injuries. It accelerates the healing and healing of wounds. At the same time it protects against the entry of infections. The response is very good when used to treat, rinse or gargle in the case of tonsil infections or inflammation of the oral cavity, teeth, etc. There is good experience with the reaction also with warts, which are treated externally. It provides relief after painful insect bites.

Internal use: Dissolve 15 drops in 100 ml of water and take 3 times a day.

External: For mouthwash and gargling, use 30 drops and gargle 3–5 times a day. For tonsils that are infected or inflamed, apply it to a cotton swab and rub it on the tonsils. If a wart appears, cover it with a soaked plaster and let it fully absorb. Repeat for 1–3 days. The wart should peel off on its own. For cuts, scratches and other skin problems, apply directly to the affected area. After three weeks, we will discontinue administration.

What dosage do you recommend?

We think that the dose of 5 drops recommended by Czech manufacturers is not sufficient. Even abroad, at least 10 drops are used 2–3 times a day. We think that the incorrectly determined dosage of Czech suppliers is based on recommendations that appear on many foreign servers. However, the SP-303 extract is described here, but it is not available on the Czech market.

Can dragon's blood cause an allergic reaction?

As with all natural substances, dragon's blood can cause an allergic reaction, so it is recommended to gradually increase the dosage to a maximum of 15 drops 3 times a day and do a tolerance test before use. Rub two drops of dragon's blood on your wrist or elbow, if the area does not start to itch or an allergic reaction does not occur, you can use it without any worries.
