Dried coconut drink is made from so-called coconut milk, which is produced by pressing the pulp of fresh coconuts. For technological reasons, tapioca maltodextrin is added to fresh coconut milk and the mixture is then gently dried. Dried coconut drink has a typical pleasant coconut taste and aroma. By mixing it in hot water, we prepare a plant-based coconut drink, which we use to replace classic cow's milk in cases where the coconut taste is not a problem. This "milk" is delicious on its own, sweetened with a favorite sweetener or flavored with cocoa or banana puree. We can also prepare vegan pudding, porridge, yogurt or homemade ice cream from it. It also makes a good addition to smoothies with tropical fruit. To prepare coconut "cream", we add less water. The powder itself will add a coconut flavor and creamy texture to stewed curry dishes, pumpkin or red lentil soup, and various desserts.
