Ecobamboo is a bamboo toothbrush developed especially for children. It has a shorter handle and head, and your little one will have a great grip on it. It differs from other toothbrushes with its wave-shaped bristles.

This toothbrush has the popular soft bristle class.

The toothbrush is fully biodegradable in nature, including its nylon bristles, which do not contain BPA (Bisphenol-A). It comes packaged in a tube made of fine, fully biodegradable corn starch pulp and in a box made of recycled paper.

The Ecobamboo brand complements the products of the Zero Waste brand - the same owner is behind it. The latter wants to popularize the idea of zero waste. It only offers products that are either completely biodegradable (including their packaging) or replace disposable ones.

The idea came to a young Polish student, Adrian, when he was participating in the Erasmus student exchange program in Italy. He lived in a dormitory and was intrigued by the fact that there was a bin in the bathroom for plastic toothbrushes only. Students threw them away there as soon as they were no longer usable. Unfortunately, only a part of plastic is recycled worldwide, the rest ends up in landfills with a decomposition time of hundreds of years. The same fate awaited these plastic toothbrushes.

Two years later, he traveled around Asia and noticed that the locals used many products made of bamboo. He wondered if bamboo could also work for toothbrushes. It turned out to be a great idea - a toothbrush that is made of natural material, fully biodegradable, and can compete well with conventional plastic toothbrushes.
