Instructions for use: Spread a 3-  5 cm layer of litter on the bottom of the terrarium (or 10 cm if there are live plants in the terrarium). Use the EXO TERRA hygrometer and regularly check whether the air humidity in the terrarium is adequate for the needs of the terrarium animals you keep. Do not place litter in the feeding  parts of the terrarium.  Accidental ingestion of bark can cause constipation or  other digestive problems in animals.
