Familia tomato sauce is made in Tuscany, Italy from local fresh tomatoes ripened in the sun until red. The tomatoes were grown according to the principles of controlled organic farming, they were not transported or stored long distances. During gentle preparation, the sauce retains the natural aroma and taste of ripe tomatoes as well as a maximum of nutrients. Familia is delicately seasoned with basil and sea salt and can be used either heated directly on pasta (for example with Parmesan), or seasoned according to your own imagination, for example with fried eggplant, mushrooms, meat, etc. Familia is also an ideal base for Mediterranean sauces.
