Adverse effects: If licking occurs, short-term hypersalivation may occur due to the nature of the vehicle. As very rare side effects, transient skin reactions (fading and loss of hair, itching, redness of the skin) have been reported after use. Hypersalivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervousness), vomiting or respiratory problems have been reported exceptionally. In case of persistent side effects, seek veterinary advice.

Avoid overdose.
If you notice any serious side effects or other reactions not listed in this leaflet, please inform your veterinary surgeon.

Content of active and other substances: 1 ml contains Active substance: Fipronil 2.5 mg. Clear, almost colorless solution.

Target animal species: Dogs and cats.

Dosage and method of administration: The general dose is 7.5 mg fipronil per 1 kg of animal body weight, i.e. in practice 3 ml of the product or 6 presses of the application pump per 1 kg of animal body weight for a 100 ml package, or 2 presses of the head per 1 kg of animal body weight for a 250 ml package. Depending on the length of the coat, this dose can be increased up to twice, i.e. 15 mg fipronil per 1 kg of animal body weight, i.e. in practice up to 12 presses of the application pump per 1 kg of animal body weight for a 100 ml package, or 4 presses per 1 kg of animal body weight for a 250 ml package. Accurate dosing is necessary to ensure optimal effect and duration of effectiveness. Never reduce the prescribed dosage. If necessary, contact your veterinarian.

Instructions for correct administration:From a distance of 10 - 20 cm, spray the entire surface of the animal's body in the direction against the hair, usually while using a brush or comb (all hair should be evenly moistened with the product so that the product can penetrate to the skin). To treat the head and area around the eyes, spray the product onto a moistened glove and gently rub into the hair - do not spray into the eyes. Let the product dry under normal temperature conditions.

Protection against flea re-infestation lasts up to 90 days in dogs and approximately 6 weeks in cats. Protection against ticks lasts up to 5 weeks in dogs and up to 4 weeks in cats.
Ticks are killed within 48 hours, before they can fully absorb and potentially transmit the disease (e.g. Lyme disease). Killed ticks most often fall off or can be removed manually. However, individual ticks may become attached, so transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely ruled out if conditions are unfavorable. Due to the absence of safety studies, the minimum interval between individual treatments is 4 weeks.

Withdrawal period: Not intended for food-producing animals.

Special storage precautions: Store out of reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Protect from frost. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the label.

Do not handle treated animals and prevent children from playing with them until the applied product has dried. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day, but in the early evening, and not to allow freshly treated animals to sleep with their owners, especially children. Apply the product to animals outdoors or in a well-ventilated room. Do not inhale the spray. Do not smoke, drink or eat during application. Wear protective PVC or nitrile gloves when applying the product. It is recommended to use a waterproof apron during application. Treatment of large numbers of animals: Good ventilation is especially important where large numbers of animals are being treated. Treat large numbers of animals outdoors or prevent the build-up of alcohol vapours by moving treated animals away from the treatment area. Also ensure that the treatment room is well ventilated between applications. Also ensure good ventilation of the room where the animals are drying and avoid placing several freshly treated animals in the same area.
