Wild salmon of the species Oncorhyncus gorbuscha – also known as humpback salmon – live in the waters of the northeastern Pacific. They owe their name to the physical changes that occur during mating. To reproduce, male salmon swim in freshwater areas and acquire the characteristic hump and strong pink color due to natural influences.

The wild salmon fillet is smoked on FSC-certified beech wood, which gives the meat a subtle smoky aroma. Pickled in organic sunflower oil, it is ideal as an alternative to classic canned tuna.
