Freeze-dried peaches are high in fiber, a source of potassium and vitamin C. Potassium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, muscles and to maintaining normal blood circulation.
Vitamin C contributes to natural collagen formation - which is important for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth. It also contributes to normal mental activity and function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise. Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
Freeze-drying (vacuum freezing) or lyophilization is the most gentle way to process fruit. Freeze-dried fruit retains up to 90% of the ingredients, vitamins, appearance, taste and aroma of fresh fruit.
