The pineapple tree is a pantropical plant growing up to 1.5 m tall. It is native to South America. It is a perennial plant that is grown for its fruit - pineapple.
Salvia Paradise® brings you pineapple in freeze-dried form with a high content of vitamin C, fiber and fat-free.
Vitamin C contributes to the naturalformation of collagen. Collagen is important for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth. It also contributes to normal mental activity and the function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise. Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
Freeze-drying (vacuum freezing) or lyophilization is the most gentle way to process fruit. Freeze-dried fruit retains up to 90% of the ingredients, vitamins, appearance, taste and aroma of fresh fruit.
