Matcha Tea Standard
A tea of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha has been used by Zen Buddhist monks for meditation for over 800 years. Matcha tea leaves grow slowly on shady plantations, then the freshly dried leaves are slowly ground into a fine, jade green powder. Matcha can also be used in the kitchen, for example for making matcha cakes, chocolates, ice cream, smoothies or matcha lattes at home.
Ingredients: 100% Japanese matcha green tea*

Preparation: Pour 1/2 teaspoon of powder into 150 ml of hot water (80 °C) and whisk with a whisk until foamy.
Storage and use instructions: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
