Garcinia cambogia is a perennial, evergreen tree or shrub growing up to 20 m tall. It is a tropical plant native to Indonesia. It has a spherical crown with drooping or horizontally directed branches. The bark of the tree is dark and smooth. The leaves are opposite, lanceolate and the flowers occur in clusters of 5–20 flowers. The fruit is a green berry up to 5 cm in diameter with 6–8 longitudinal grooves. The ripe berry is yellow or red in color, tasty and fleshy.
Garcinia cambogia is used mainly for weight control - it is very suitable for diet plans and has an effect on lipid metabolism. Garcinia is known for its ingredient called HCA (hydroxycitric acid).

Traditional use:
Mix one teaspoon of powder in water and drink. Take 2–3 times a day, always 30–60 minutes before meals. TIP for preparation: Add only 2 times more water than powder to the glass of powder and mix to a paste, which we dilute with liquid - no lumps form.
