Yellow gentian (lat. Gentiana lutea) was used to support digestion by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Gentian, also called gentian. The plant became very popular especially in the Middle Ages, as it is much gentler and does not irritate the intestines as much as other herbs that support digestion. Gentian is often added to various liqueurs, vermouth and other alcoholic beverages to support digestion. It is recommended for general body refreshment.
