Product detailed description
The black walnut (lat. Juglans nigra) is a sturdy tree growing up to 40 m tall and 25 m wide. Its homeland is North America - the eastern part of the USA, from where it was imported to Europe in the 17th century. It was first recorded in the Czech Republic in 1835 and is currently part of castle gardens and parks. The black walnut has brownish-gray to blackish-gray grooved bark, long pointed and serrated leaves. It is a monoecious tree with spherical fruits that contain edible kernels.
The black walnut blooms in May and June. The collected part is the pericarp of the walnut tree, which is used internally in the form of a decoction or infusion.
External use: Due to its strong disinfectant effects, the decoction is also used externally for rinsing and applying to affected areas of the skin.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Traditional use:
Mix one teaspoon of ground pericarp in water and use 3 times a day. It is not intended for long-term use. After 6 weeks of use, it is recommended to take a 1-week break and not repeat this treatment more than 2 times a year.
TIP for preparation: Add only 2 times more water than powder to the glass of powder and mix to a paste, which is diluted with liquid - no lumps form.
