Product detailed description
Wood tea – Dipsacus fullonum – ground root. The advantage of the powder is that it is very easy to prepare.
Wood tea is a sturdy biennial plant growing up to two meters high. It is found along roads, in pastures, wastelands, ditches, demolition sites or on the edges of forests and bushes.
In addition to the northern part, it is found throughout Europe, but also in the Ciscaucasia, Asia Minor and Iran. The useful part is the root, which is used internally. The inflorescence is purple, sometimes even white, conical, prickly and up to four inches high. The flower itself is protected by spiny bracts, which create a protective cage around it. It blooms from July to September, and the blossomed strobus are very popularly used in flower arrangements and wreaths as a decoration.
