The common hazel is a richly branched shrub growing up to 4 m tall. The crown grows up to 10 m wide in diameter. The fruit is a hard hazelnut, which grows in clusters of up to 5 pieces. Interestingly, the hazel tree can live up to a hundred years.
Hazelnut kernels support the body's natural defenses, the activity of blood vessels and thus influence the level of cholesterol in the blood. They have an effect on the activity of the urogenital system in men, especially the prostate.
