An interesting non-carbonated, unpasteurized beer produced in the Trojan family brewery 10 km across the Czech border. No added sugar, hop extracts or dyes.
The extract from hemp flowers gives the beer an unmistakable character. This was already known by brewers in the Middle Ages, who used hemp in addition to hops to flavor beer. High-quality groundwater from the peat bogs of the Hochmoor National Park and malt from local barley, together with the aromatic extract from hemp flowers, give Schrem hemp beer an excellent full taste and distinctive color.
