Product detailed description
Hercampuri, a herb from the Peruvian Andes, known as Té amargo, is one of the basic herbs used in Peru.
The name hercampuri comes from the original word “Hjircan pureck” – which can be translated as “one who goes from village to village”. This is an allusion to doctors or rather herbalists traveling with an interpreter of herbs who treat through phytotherapy.
Since hercampuri is not a very well-known plant in Europe and its use is not widespread, no company has submitted a proposal for the recognition of any of the health claims for which hercampuri is traditionally used. Therefore, according to Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, we are not allowed to inform about the health effects on the human body. More information can be found in the herbarium.
Dosage and method of preparation: Pour one teaspoon of dried hercampuri with one liter of cold water, let it boil for 5 minutes and strain. Drink a glass (approx. 200 ml) of the decoction 3 times a day, which is deep yellow in color and has an astringent taste.
Warning: Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, children under 3 years of age and people with stomach ulcers. Not recommended for stomach ulcers.
