Product detailed description

This high-quality, hand-picked honeybush grows only in the Eastern Cape along the Garden Route. The processing is similar to rooibos, with fermentation taking place immediately after harvest. It is often called the sister bush of rooibos, but honeybush is a wild shrub. The infusion is naturally sweet and typical of its delicate honey taste and aroma. This is also reflected in its name in translation, i.e. "honey bush". It does not contain caffeine, so it can be enjoyed at any time of the day. During the winter months, it will warm you up nicely, and in the summer you can conjure up a refreshing iced "tea".

For teas in general, ecological origin is very important. This is a food that we consume without rinsing, and all pesticide residues used in conventional cultivation remain in the tea and can pass into the infusion.
