Product detailed description
Honeybush BIO is very similar in taste and aroma to the well-known rooibos. It is less well-known because rooibos is better grown and cultivated, while honeybush is still harvested from wild plants.
Honeybush BIO is harvested during flowering, when the plant has a strong>strong honey scent. Honeybush retains this strong scent and flavor even after drying.
After harvesting, honeybush is chopped into small pieces, then fermented and dried in the sun to give it a typical reddish-brown color. During this process, it acquires a pleasant honey aroma. If you have experience with rooibos tea, you will find that honeybush is more delicious precisely because of the plant's more pronounced honey flavor. The infusion is gentle with a strong aroma of flowers and honey.
Honeybush BIO has a charming taste and does not contain caffeine, so it is suitable even for the smallest children and for long-term drinking.
The provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on nutrition and health claims, do not allow us to inform you about the effects of this plant on your body. Please find information about the effects in freely available sources or in a herbarium.
Traditional use: Put a spoonful of BIO honeybush in 250 ml of boiling water and let it steep for 5–10 minutes. You can sweeten it with honey.
